The National Dope Testing Laboratory (NDTL) is an autonomous body under Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt. of India. It is accredited by National Accreditation Board for Testing & Calibration Laboratories, NABL (2003) and World Anti Doping Agency (WADA) (2008) for testing of urine & blood samples from human sports. The accreditation for the testing of blood samples (Human Growth Hormone & Blood Parameters) acquired in April 2010.

- The National Dope Testing Laboratory (NDTL) will Endeavour to deliver its services appropriate to the client’s needs in a timely manner adhering to the applicable International standards.

- NDTL will continuously improve its services and strive to maintain upper quality performances in respect of applicable best value performance indicators.

- NDTL will systematically promote the skills and knowledge of all staff members by appropriate training and ensure to preserve reputation and integrity of the organisation by committing to high standards of responsibility and objectivity.

Re-assessment audit of NDTL was held on April 3-4, 2012 for its biological and chemical activities

Dr. Olivier Rabin, Science Director, WADA visited to NDTL, New Delhi on Oct, 31st & Nov. 1, 2011.

Prof. David Cowan (Director, DCC, King's College, London.) and Mr Injeti Srinivas (J.S. MYAS & CEO, National Dope Testing Laboratory, India) during his Visit signed MoU between NDTL and King's College, London, on Anti Doping Science on 28th June` 2010.

Dr Maurizio Casasco (President, Laboratorio Anti Doping Federazione Medico Sportiva Italiana, Rome, Italy.) and Mr Injeti Srinivas (J.S. MYAS & CEO, National Dope Testing Laboratory, India) during his Visit signed MoU between NDTL and Rome Anti-doping Laboratory, on Anti Doping Science on 2nd July` 2010 Prof F. T. Delbeke (Belgium Lab) Visited NDTL on June 8` 2011

Dr Francesco Botre (Scientific Director, Anti Doping Laboratory, Rome, Italy) visited NDTL, July 4-7` 2011.

3rd Governing Body/2nd General Body meeting held on April 13,2011 at NDTL chaired by Hon’ble Minister of sports “Shri Ajay Maken"

Two Scientist of NDTL undergone training of Equestrian Dope Testing.

NDTL is in process of setting up facility for Equestrian Dope Testing.

NDTL successfully accomplished Singapore Youth Olympics Games (SYOG-2010) and Delhi Commonwealth Games (CWG-2010) testing.

Dr David Howman, Director General , WADA visited NDTL on May 25,2010

Dr. Francesco Botre, Scientific Director, Antidoping Laboratory, Rome, Italy, visited NDTL from 1st to 3rd April, 2009 to review road map for CWG 2010 testing.

Three member delegation from Doping Control Lab, Cologne, Germany visited NDTL from Nov, 09-13, 2009.

Prof. David Cowan, Director, Drug Control Centre and Head Deptt. of Forensic Science and Drug Monitoring, King’s college London visited NDTL to formalize Bilateral cooperation between the two Institutes from Jan 06-08, 2010.

Dr. Xavier de la Torre, Technical Manager, Anti Doping Laboratory, Rome, Italy visited NDTL from Feb 08-12, 2010 to provide scientific support for CWG 2010 testing.

Delegation of Common Wealth Games Federation Medical Commission visited NDTL on 11 March 2010 to review the progress in NDTL for CWG 2010 testing

a)CEO, NDTL signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for bilateral co-operation with Drug Control centre, Kings College, London, UK and Anti-Doping laboratory, Rome, Italy

a)Drug testing (urine & blood) for Singapore Youth Olympics being held from Aug. 14-26, 2010 awarded to NDTL, India.
